"Anything worth doing once is worth doing more than once." That is a mantra that certainly fits the decision to remove, re-install, and re-configure the DotNetNuke framework for this website. It is the third time for this exercise and this time has gone the best. The motivation came after installing the Ultra Media Gallery 5.4. The site was getting very unstable. The UMG install wizard would stall at step 5, then jump to step 8. When editing a Text/HTML module the first time you clicked on Update, the page would refresh and drop all the edits but, if you did the edits a second time and clicked Update, they stayed. Often a page would not fully download and there would be red x placeholders for graphics and often it meant there would soon be a WebHost4Life Firewall Alert on the next page click. The DNN File Manager would timeout when trying to Synchronize files with Recursive options. Etc, etc.

Anyway, after the re-install and rebuilding of the pages and modules for several hours there have been ZERO errors. The only frustration was resolved with the discovery that the Host SMTP setting for the User needs to match the host account since that is the mailbox it wants to send from. Otherwise, you get a "Mailbox unavailable. The server response was: No such user here" error when you test the settings.

The downside is that I dislike the default skins and containers supplied with this DNN version (4.90). my next activity is to locate and install some skins that are more agreeable.
